XeroSweet+ is a natural sweetening solution that brings together optimal levels of proprietary steviol glycosides and xylitol—a natural alcohol sweetener produced through the hydrogenation of D-xylose. This combination offers multiple advantages. Stevia is a high intensity sweetener, with about 150 to 250 times the sweetness of sucrose. When formulating, extremely low percentages of high intensity sweeteners are required, and because of their intense sweetening power, their use must be carefully controlled. Since such small amounts are used to deliver the same sweetness as sucrose, the resulting formula lacks solids—these must be built back to achieve a comparable mouthfeel. Xylitol has about the same sweetness as sugar but is sweeter than other common polyols like sorbitol and mannitol—it is often prized for its bulking capabilities. XeroSweet+ can be used as a standalone sweetener, or in conjunction with high intensity sweeteners and fibers. When combined with high intensity sweeteners like stevia, the sweetening blend provides a neutral flavor profile that can be used as a plug-and-play replacement for sugar. XeroSweet+ is non-GMO, kosher, and is available in both conventional and organic certified versions.
